The unpainted 8" round Rosewood sticks produce a nice and deep sound when struck against each other. The painted 10" Clap Sticks are made from hard wood which creates a very clean distinguished sound. Place one stick in the hand that is holding the didge, with a stick in the other hand you can strike them together creating the "clap" sound used to keep a rhythm going. To play them without a Didge cradle one stick loosely between the palm and fingers creating an echo chamber out of your hand. Lightly strike the other stick against it for a loud clap.
