I am a beginner who has never played before. This Didgeridoo is made of thin plastic. Threading the D to E section gets crossed threaded at times. Sound is good but my slide didge is all around better made and sounding. I can hit the horn easier and circular breath easier on it all while playing it in better sounding keys. I prefer the slide didge over the travel one.

Decent sound for how cheap the didge is...it's easy to assemble and very light. Thanks guys!

This is a very compact size when taken apart. It gives nice tone and has really good back pressure. The bell end is really good sized. It is PVC but for a fairly nice looking, easy to assemble, very portable unit you can't go wrong.
It is designed so you can change keys by removing sections. Frankly, not all the keys provide the same quality sound, but hey, what do you expect. The DVDs provided are fun and useful.

I own a lot of didg's, and been playing a long time. Most of the plastic / PVC instruments sound pretty horrible. But I have to say, this one sounds fantastic and even records well. It's shockingly responsive for what it is also. I got one of my students to get this model and got one for myself to check it out. I love it! I take it out for any gigs that don't require authenticity, and you really can't beat the price!
The only issue is that they are not built to last. The threads to wear out as you put it together and take it apart often. I will be replacing mine soon after a couple years of use.
If the plastic were tougher ABS style plastic, this would be perfect. I'd be happy to pay more to avoid more landfill!!!

This thing is a lot bigger than it might seem from the pictures--the bell is large, and the whole thing is pretty long. I had a bit of trouble screwing it together smoothly at first, but the pieces just screw together a bit tight--which I suppose is good, so there's as airtight of a seal as possible. But, anyways, this thing also sounds fantastic, and isn't too pricey. A great buy.

It's large but lightweight. Unscrews fine. Deep sound tho not as deep as I expected. Nice design; nice padded bag.
